Excellent recipe to make and keep during those baking days.  One other tip that I learned from the Barefoot Contessa‘s show is how to make vanilla sugar.  Keep a second sugar canister and place a spliced vanilla bean in it.  The sugar will absorb the aroma and add a boost to baking recipes that call for vanilla.  🙂
